Sponsored by The Joint Properties, this is an established event in the Edinburgh social calendar. The day comprises good quality company, a Texas scramble, team & individual prizes, and a dinner in the clubhouse.

The 2009 Golf Classic was, for the first time in its distinguished history, rained off.  Bruntsfield was so covered in water that our traditional Texas Scramble format was initially changed to a Wisconsin Wade. Then the authorities jumped in and waved play to a halt.

The sponsor Joint Properties have generously left their support in the kitty, as have a number of teams, no doubt on the faithful understandinding that we remember they have already paid when it comes to the 2010 event.

This is scheduled for Friday 3rd September 2010 again at Bruntsfield Links GS.  There may be one or two team places available.  Email Duncan Mennie on duncanmennie@btinternet.com on any matter from teams, to scuba diving equipment to peripheral sponsorship.
